Your Membership Agreement

Let’s agree to agree

Forget about long contracts with lots of words you need a dictionary to understand. When you sign up for myPlan™ you’ll sign an easy-to-understand Membership Agreement. We made sure it’s up-front and clear so that we all understand what we’re getting in to. Take a look at the agreement now. Here’s some stuff you should know.

  • Your services and membership term begin when you activate your phone.
  • We’ll notify you of your e-Bill once a month, at the email address you’ve provided.
  • You agree to look at your e-Bill. That’s your responsibility. Just because you don’t look at your e-Bill doesn’t mean you don’t owe us the money for your services.
  • You agree to tell us if you’ve changed your email address.
  • When your membership term ends, your service still continues month to month. You can end your services at that time and only have to pay for any unpaid charges on your account.
  • Mobile phone service isn’t perfect. We aren’t liable for any damages or service disruption except those set out in the terms of service.
  • You authorize Virgin Mobile to obtain and provide information about your credit history. We’ll keep your info strictly confidential according to our privacy policy.

Getting out of the agreement

O.K., so stuff happens. Maybe you want out of your agreement with us.

If you decide to leave Virgin Mobile (sniff) we’ll charge you $20 for each month remaining in your membership term up to a maximum of $400 and a minimum charge of $100. This covers the cost of bring you super-duper phone prices.

With our No Worries Guarantee, you can return your Virgin Mobile phone and cancel service within 30 days and get a full refund on any payments made toward the phone. There are some things you’ll still have to pay for, though:

  • Prorated portion of your monthly plan
  • Prorated portion of your monthly Basic Services Package fee
  • Prorated portion of add-ons or features
  • Web surfing and text messaging usage not included in your add-on packages
  • Any airtime not included in your plan
  • Roaming and long distance charges
  • All applicable taxes associated with the above charges

Use the phone for more than 30 days and the standard cancellation policy kicks in. (That’s $20 for each month left in your membership term.) Sound fair?
