Data Plans:
Add $5 to your data plan and your monthly data charge is automatically adjusted to your data usage. If you use more or less than your base plan, you will be moved to a higher or lower tier accordingly.
Heads up Use your smartphone to tether and surf the web from almost anywhere on data plans with 500 MB or more. Nifty.

Good to know
- Data can be used for personal email, mobile browsing, instant messenger and tethering. Tethering is available on select smartphones only.
- BlackBerry Messenger, Windows Live™ Messenger, Google™ talk, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, and AOL instant messenger are available with the BlackBerry Social & BlackBerry Email Bundle.
- Additional minutes are 35¢/minute unless specified.
- Long distance charges are 35¢/minute in addition to your local per minute rate (in Canada / U.S.).
- Any overages in data usage will be charged at 5¢ per additional megabyte.
- A one-time Activation Charge of $35 applies to each line on all myPlan and Combo Plans.
- With Fee-Free Switching you can switch your plan for free once a month.
- Included in myPlan and Combo Plans: Incoming text messages, call waiting, call forwarding, conference calling.
- It costs 15 ¢ to send a text within Canada, 25 ¢ to send an international text and receiving a text (from anywhere) is always free. International, Premium text messages (like replies to a Tweet or Facebook message) and short codes are excluded from your text messaging plan or Add-on and are billed at a premium rate.
- Unlimited evening and weekend calling is from 7pm to 7am Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
- A monthly 40¢ municipal tax applies in Quebec for 911 services. Check out our Member Updates for more info on other provinces.
